How long do Memberships last?

All UPA memberships are true annual memberships.

Are memberships good for all UPA leagues?

Yes, once you are a UPA member, your membership is universal throughout the US.

Can I join as a Touring Pro even if I don’t play in leagues?

Yes, our Touring Pro membership is open to anyone who would like to join.

Are there age requirements for membership?

The UPA has no membership requirement or limitation in regards to age. Keep in mind that certain pool rooms my restrict the entry of minors.

Can I still play in other leagues if I join?

Of course. The UPA encourages all members to take part in any league that they enjoy.

What Speed will I be started at when I join?

Our Representatives will determine an Initial Speed (IS) upon joining. If you join as a member directly from our website and do not play in leagues then you will select an appropriate Speed, which will be reevaluated in the future.

How much are Nightly Dues?

Nightly Dues will very from state to state, however approximately 90% of UPA league Nightly Dues are $10.

How do I get paid if I win?

Once the session is completed, Prize Fund payouts are paid directly to the players within 2 weeks. All league night paperwork has Prize Fund payout dates announced (check your league night paperwork).

Can I join even if I don’t play?

Of course. We have many members who support the UPA. We would love to have you, thank you!

Does the UPA have a Code of Conduct?

Yes, all UPA leagues are “Family Friendly,” and are consistent nationwide. Click Here to see our Official Code of Conduct.

Can amateurs join the UPA?

Yes, our amateur league program was specifically designed to teach beginners how to play and our SSR Program ensures that players will be handicapped properly to get the best out of league play.

Can Pro’s play in the UPA?

Yes, professional players will have a defaulted Speed of 10.
